The firm

Three decades on the right side of the statute.

Purohit Associates has advised Indian employers on industrial and labour law since 1990 — growing from a payroll and compliance practice into a full-spectrum labour-law firm.

Our story

Built on one idea: never let a client be caught off-guard.

The firm began in 1990, advising businesses on payroll and statutory compliance when most navigated labour law in the dark. That single forte — getting the basics exactly right, every month — became the foundation for everything that followed.

Over three decades the practice widened to cover the full arc of industrial and labour matters: compliance, audits, litigation, HR policy, manpower and day-to-day advisory. Through it all, the working principle has stayed the same — treat each client's file as a living register, not a once-a-year scramble.

  • C.One team, end to endFrom monthly filing to courtroom representation, the same counsel knows your matter.

What guides us

Three commitments behind every engagement.

i.

Precision

Compliance is a detail business. We get the registers, returns and deadlines exactly right, because the cost of approximation is a penalty.

ii.

Ownership

We hold the calendar, chase the approvals and answer the notices — so the responsibility doesn't quietly fall back on your team.

iii.

Continuity

The same people stay with your file year after year, carrying the institutional memory that makes advice fast and litigation sharp.

Not sure where your compliance stands?

Start with a no-obligation review. We'll tell you exactly which Acts apply and where your current filings have gaps.
